There are 3 Leagues per Season - Season Starts in November

• Fall League - First full week after the high school football season
• Winter League - First full week in January (finished before high schools start practice)
• Spring League - Third week in February (finished before little league season starts)

The above days for hitting are guidelines. We like to keep our age groups together to avoid changing machine speed any more then we have to . However, if the above days do not correspond with extracurricular school activities, you can schedule your team for a convenient day, provided it is available. Saturday is reserved for these teams and also is a good make-up day.

Our Hitting Leagues are a proven success to a jump start to the regular baseball and softball season.

Hitting Leagues - Format

A team consist of (4) four players. Resister as a team of 4 or as an individual. If you register individually we cannot assign you a team or time, until the roster is full. A 7 inning game takes approximately 30 minutes, once a week. Your time to play will be determined by available time slots at time of registration. We try to stay within the days per-designated on the front side of this format.

However, we can be flexible to a day of the week that fits your teams schedule. Saturdays are usually reserved for teams that can't make a weeknight game. Saturday is also a great day to make up a game.

Scoring: will be done by the staff of Big League Baseball. The color zones on the front and side nets determine a value of one(1) to fifteen(15) points. We will explain in detail to each player at the beginning of the 1st game of each league. Ask a staff member for details. Each week we will post the team and individual scores on the bulletin board.

Make Up Games: You can make up a game anytime in the first 4 weeks. No make-up games after the 4th week. If you miss any games we will average your score so you will not get a zero, and also give you two tokens for each game you miss.

Tournament: If there are 10 or more teams in a division, there will be an 8-team tournament. Six (6) to nine (9) teams; there will be a 4-team tournament. No tournament for an age division of less than 6 teams. Tournament schedule will be posted immediately after the 4th week of play. Teams that qualify will be posted immediately after the 5th game. Teams will be seated for tournament play in the order that they finish 5 weeks of league play.

Trophies: Individual trophies will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, & 4th place teams in an 8-team tournament. (1st & 2nd only for 4 team tournaments)
Note: if a division does not have a tournament, less than 6 teams, trophies will be awarded to each player of the teams that finish 1st and 2nd at the end of 5 weeks of play.

Division Batting Champion: The player with the highest score at the end of five (5) weeks will receive a "Batting Champion" trophy.

League Cost: $35.00 per player. Each player will get five (5) FREE tokens and a hitting card to purchase additional tokens for $1.00 each, a savings of $1.00 per token. If you are in all three leagues in one season, you can purchase tokens for the rest of the year for $1.00. The leagues pay for themselves if you are a regular participant in league play.

Hitting Leagues are designed to be competitive, fun, and fast moving. They are a jump-start and proven success before the regular season. The scoring format is designed to keep teams and individual players involved as long as possible during the 5 week hitting period, and as many teams as possible qualified for tournament games.
